2017 ICR CONFERENCE TO HIGHLIGHT TOP PRIVATE COMPANIES

19th Annual Growth Conference Will Feature Private Company Presentations January 9th

New York, NY – November 15, 2016 – ICR, a leading strategic communications and advisory firm serving over 500 private and public company clients will once again showcase the next generation of private companies at its annual ICR Conference. The event, which brings together the management teams of more than 150 public and private growth companies, institutional investors, sell-side research analysts, private equity professionals, sponsoring investment bankers and select media, will dedicate its first day, Monday, Jan. 9, to privately held companies.

The ICR Conference will take place Jan. 9-11, 2017 at the Grand Lakes Resort in Orlando, Florida, home to the JW Marriott and Ritz-Carlton hotels.

A highly productive event for more than 50 private companies, the ICR Conference provides an opportunity for management teams and their financial sponsors to elevate their corporate visibility in the capital markets and with the media.  Moreover, companies are able to meet with investment banks and private equity firms that can be instrumental to a future capital raise or transaction, as well as advisors that can assist with a potential IPO if that’s the chosen path.

“The first day of our conference has become an exceptional platform for companies to get their broader business story and corporate brand introduced to a wider audience within the private equity and banker communities,” said Tom Ryan, Chief Executive Officer, ICR.  “In fact, we are seeing more and more companies leverage our event to create strategic partnerships and successfully launch financing transactions every year. We look forward to hosting another dynamic group and hearing their unique corporate and industry perspective at our 19th annual conference.”

“From our first involvement as a private company in 2012 to today as a public one, the ICR Conference has always been a highly effective and powerful experience for us, as it provides us valuable insights on trends and consumer behavior to kick off the year,” said Kevin Miles, CEO and President of  Zoës Kitchen. “Companies considering an IPO will find that the conference is a strategic and impactful opportunity to raise visibility and gain vital perspective. For us, the conference was instrumental leading up to our 2014 IPO, giving us a platform to position ourselves as a category leader and to connect us with all of the stakeholders who would ultimately support our story and lead to a highly successful transaction.”

The ICR Conference offers a unique forum for management teams to discuss industry trends, share their outlook and build their network of contacts. The conference attracts more than 2,300 overall attendees. The dynamic three-day event, featuring main stage presentations and smaller question and answer breakout sessions, provides management teams with a rare opportunity to interact with private equity professionals, investment bankers, institutional investors and research analysts as well as the financial media.
